 Second-stage surgery is more than uncovering a fixture. It is the moment to preserve, rebuild and reposition the peri-implant soft tissue. Fixed provisionals then take over and shape the emergence profile, harmonize the mucosal level with the adjacent teeth, define papillae and zeniths, and establish proximal contacts. This live session walks through uncovering, handling of peri implant soft tissue, and provisionalization for implants replacing maxillary central incisors, treating both as one continuum. Careful tissue handling followed by deliberate prosthetic sculpting turns the soft tissue into a blueprint for a biologically stable, esthetically predictable final restoration.Â
